Mr. Shapira is an energy consultant for IPP's (Conventional and Co-Generation), former chairman of the board, Public Utility Authority – Israel (PUA). At this capacity he was responsible for compliance with the electricity market law by adoption of resolutions within the Board of Directors (4 directors excluding the chairman) and  for the adoption of resolutions for the implementation of governmental policies in the Israeli electricity market.

 

Among represented the PUA professional decisions before the Israeli Government, the Israeli Parliament, and in numerous international forums.

 

Prior to PUA, Amnon was a  co-owner & general manager of "ONIT – Computer Services Ltd." 
Amnon holds:   M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering (IT) from Ben Gurion University,  Beer-Sheva;

B.Sc. in industrial engineering, from Ben Gurion University,  Beer-Sheba.
